The heart of the Okavango Delta is the Moremi Game Reserve. Apart from the outstanding beauty of the wetland habitat, this unique area supports a huge diversity of animals and plants, so game viewing is excellent throughout the year.
This water-filled paradise is the ultimate Delta experience with serene waters flowing through the innumerable channels around remote islands and a profusion of plant and animal life.
Travelling to the reserve, one can see lions, giraffe, leopards, caracals, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, red lechwe, African wild dogs, wildebeest, impala, Kori bustards, hippos, Nile crocodiles and a variety of smaller mammals and birds.
Activities include mokoro (dugout canoe) safaris, boat safaris and walking safaris, as well as game viewing in 4x4 vehicles.
