Day 1 & 2:
USA - Nairobi
Your
overnight flight across the Atlantic arrives
in Europe or London in the morning.
The full day is at leisure before boarding
your overnight flight to Nairobi,
Kenya.
Day 3: Nairobi
Early morning arrival in Nairobi, where your
Wildlife Safari tour manager will meet and
escort you to the Nairobi Serena Hotel.
A welcome safari briefing by your Wildlife
Safari manager in your hotel followed by
an afternoon sightseeing tour of Nairobi,
including visits to the Karen Blixen Museum
and Rothschild Giraffe Center. Nairobi

Day 4: Lake Manyara
Transfer to Nairobi airport and board your
flight to Lake Manyara via Arusha.
Your Wildlife Safari vehicle and guide will
meet you on arrival and drive you to the Lake
Manyara Serena Lodge, perched on the
of the Great Rift Valley escarpment
overlooking the lake and surrounding woodlands. Lake

Day 5: Ngorongoro
An early morning game viewing drive in the Lake
Manyara National Park, searching for
the elusive tree climbing lion and viewing
hippo at close quarters along the lake
shore. Continue to the Ngorongoro crater,
where two thousand foot walls surround
a crater floor covering just over one
hundred square miles. Arrive at the Ngorongoro
Serena Lodge which is built into the crater
rim, where you can spend the afternoon
game viewing from your balcony. Ngorongoro

Day 6: Ngorongoro
Early morning descent by four wheel drive
vehicle to the crater for a full day of wildlife
viewing. The black mane lion rules over this
unique domain. The crater lake is home to
thousands of flamingos that migrate from
the other Great Rift Valley lakes.
Elephant, buffalo and rhino are also found
in greater concentrations here than anywhere
else in Africa. Enjoy a picnic breakfast
on the crater floor before returning to your
lodge for a late lunch, avoiding the other

Day 7: Serengeti
A leisurely drive through the Ngorongoro
conservation area this morning, stopping
at Olduvai Gorge for a visit to
the museum where the collection of archeological
artifacts discovered by Louis and Mary
Leaky are displayed. Enter the vast Serengeti
National Park where huge herds of
wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam the
plains. Arrive at your lodge, which is
built in the heart of the vast wildlife
sanctuary. Lunch at the Serengeti Serena
Lodge before departing on your afternoon

Day 8: Serengeti
Spend the full day game viewing in the Serengeti
National Park. It's not unusual to
find twenty to thirty lion in a single
pride resting in the shade of an acacia
tree. The annual wildebeest migration
is the greatest wildlife show on earth,
with several million wildebeest and zebra
trekking north to the Masai Mara, while
lion, cheetah and hunting dog follow close
behind. The optional hot air balloon ride
over the Serengeti is the game viewing
experience of a lifetime, cruising at
treetop level over the herds of wildebeest
and zebra and concluding with a magnificent
breakfast on the savanna. Serengeti

Day 9 & 10: Kirawira Camp

Morning transfer to Seronera for the
short flight to Grumeti, in
the western Serengeti and far from
most other visitors. Your camp manager
will meet you on arrival and escort
you to Kirawira Camp. |
A maximum of just fifty guests are accommodated
in luxury under canvas surrounded by Victorian
antiques.

the traditional route of the wildebeest
migration, not far from the Grumeti
River, which is home to some of
the biggest crocodile in the world. |

You will enjoy two days in Kirawira, where
you can select from a variety of game viewing
activities, including game viewing drives,
escorted game walks and fishing excursions

Day 11: Nairobi
A final early morning game drive at Kirawira,
breakfast and transfer to Grumeti airstrip
for the flight to Arusha, where you connect
with your flight to Nairobi. Your Wildlife
Safari guide will meet you on arrival and
transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a farewell
dinner this evening at The Mandhari restaurant

Day 12 & 13: Nairobi - USA
Morning transfer to Nairobi airport for your
day flight to Europe or London where
you will spend the night before boarding
your flight home the next morning.
