The following project, an automatic sprinkler
installation to irrigate tees and greens,
was immediately extended to include all fairways.
The entire property is a proclaimed Nature
Reserve and an alien tree eradication programme,
coupled with the planting of indigenous trees,
has created a fine example of eco-sensible
management of a superb natural resource.
 All
greens, the green surrounds and bunkers have
recently been reconstucted to USGA specifications.
The result is a stunning golf course; a tribute
to the members who persevered with this costly
exercise. L93 Bentgrass was chosen for the
enlarged, gently sloping greens. Special
bunker sand was sourced for the strategically
placed bunkers. The new water features on
holes 1, 2, 11 and 17 beautify and enhance
a magnificent and friendly golf course.
